By the way

Orphan at Triple B

He has a bit of a snotty nose… but I found him. He is nursing from a dark mare with a blaze. He seems ok.

I’ll have more info am. Heading back out… so many things to take care of!

    Boy, he’s precious, isn’t he?

  2. You found him? Is he still orphaned? Maybe Palomino Armstrong can take him in. Let me know if you need my to do anything Laura. Thank you. Love, Les

I can go to bed right now (1:40am) and get some sleep too.
I’ll need help finding out exactly how to do it, but I know I can.. I adopted and raised two PMU foals several years ago.. I’m so glad that he is with a substitute MOM.
    Thanks so much!

Well, I will take care of him until you can…DEAL?

Glad Laura located him for you. You just need to supply BLM with a photo & adoption request.

Normally I would say a tag & photo, but not sure if they are still tagging the foals. Very good news he is nursing, accepted by another mare.
As Laura stated, there is time, but I would still get your request in asap, via email, phone & FAX if possible! That is my advice & what John Neill asks for, except for the fax. Good luck!

Don’t make me cry. I can’t go there yet in my mind… I am honestly able to focus on the research and daily tasks that literally have me scraping day to day… I keep all “dreams” at bay… except finding enough resource to make it another day.

Thank you for finding him, Laura. What a precious , little one but then they all are. Paula, thanks for seeing to his adoption.

Laura, you are an absolute angel! All of you are! I’m sitting here with tears in my eyes of joy that: 1) he is alive & has been adopted by another mare & 2) he has such amazing people who are already planning his forever home. I am eternally grateful for everyone who is doing all that they do to make what “is”,,,the best that they can make it. I know that we all would love nothing more than to see all of them back in the wild,. free with their families where they belong & that is what we are all fighting for. God bless all of you.~~~<3

  7. Mar Wargo says:

Paula, I hope you can do this. I agree, get on it now. Establish this foal as your adoption choice. Stay with it… call John Neill Monday. m

  8. Barbara Warner says:

Paula, any chance of you getting the mare too? I’ll help you pay.
I bet her foal is dead.

  9. Forest Horse says:

So happy this little one is alive. Thank you for finding him and reporting.

  10. polopaula says:

Margo, help me? Who is John Neill, and do I find him with the BLM directory?
I went to the Extreme Mustang Competition tonight in Ft. Worth…and for the most part thought that the trainers had done a superb job and the Mustangs were really amazing. Some of them were so trusting and bonded to their trainers.. Anyway, the announcer referred to a John from the BLM who had a new job assignment, but did not mention his last name. I want to do everything as correctly as possible, so they won;t tag me as a “hateful” person, and not let me get the baby.
Barbara, I really can’t take another horse, but let me ask around all my horse friends, and see if someone could give her a home. Feed and hay is outrageous in Texas now. I had a 20 yr old retired Dressage horse, Polo,
a retired Dutch Broodmare,17, Maggie, and my 9 yr old Percheron, Sweetie.
We were planning to live out our lives in peace and quiet.
Then the unthinkable happened. Last fall the neighbor Black & White Paint Stallion broke into my pasture and obviously raped my two poor darlings, because they turn up pregnant early summer.
So me…retired Breeder is suddenly having 5 horses…then falling in love with a mustang foal that I have to have. And now it is 6. I’m hoping for the best.. I love the horses. I have to make it work. I hope that my 2 new ones are good enough to sell, and I will again be very careful of their homes, and I will keep the little Mustang. I will ride off in to the SUNSET on him…Well nice picture.

    • Laura Leigh says:

John Neill is at Palomino Valley, Sparks Nevada.
      Number easy to find online.
Tim Green is at the desk and may answer the phone… he will walk you through.
If there is anyway to take the mare that is nursing him… she picked up a lost one… I know folks will help you. It would also be easier on him to transport…

  11. Louie Cocroft says:

    Has everyone seen this?

  12. cat Kindsfather says:

Laura, Tim Green is retiring, and may already be gone.
