My Weekend

Our Attorney Gordon Cowan working weekends for the wild horses

It’s after midnight on a Saturday night. The weekend is jammed with document preparation after a week of document preparation, discussions and information sharing.

Visited the horses at Palomino Valley, just to focus.

Even though it may seem like things are quite now that AB329 is history (was that just this past week), and it appears the horse tripping bill may need to be resubmitted, the pace is still hectic. I’m not battling physical elements of snow and ice but the intensity has not abated.

Next week will be filled with a lot of activity. I’ll keep you posted. But as you go about your Sunday say a prayer that the right words come to the right ears.

Laura, the Power of the Universe be with you:

    Lakota Instructions for Living

Friend do it this way – that is,
    whatever you do in life,
do the very best you can
with both your heart and mind.

And if you do it that way,
    the Power Of The Universe
    will come to your assistance,
if your heart and mind are in Unity.

When one sits in the Hoop Of The People,
    one must be responsible because
    All of Creation is related.
And the hurt of one is the hurt of all.
And the honor of one is the honor of all.
And whatever we do effects everything in the universe.

If you do it that way – that is,
if you truly join your heart and mind
as One – whatever you ask for,
that’s the Way It’s Going To Be.
