Caption under Video reads: Shocking video captured at the Winnemucca Annual Charreada on April 30, 2011. Not only shows horse tripping to be alive and well in a state that claims to not have it, but also that horses are downed, injured, prodded with electric cattle prods, used over and over in repeated events, and are not given water throughout an entire day of events. Blatant abuse to these horses, which are obvious domestics, is in no way in the spirit of a true rodeo and rodeo sportsmanship.
Personal note: This is not “American Rodeo.” This is supposed to be a “top notch” Charreada. This demonstrates no skill, only an ability to take the young, old, small and weak and abuse them.
Update coming later about the First Amendment issue.
