Very good article. Both comprehensive and on point. Also read Sandra’s comment. The meeting was certainly a first, but was it a smokescreen? Only time will tell. I sure wish the BLM would do at least one positive, tangible thing that directly impacts the wild ones RIGHT NOW. Deeds speak louder than words.

Thank you Laura, I commented on the Examiner story. Appreciations for your work are in order. THANK YOU!!!

Last day for comments on Twin Peaks is today, June 18th ……. I went on the public tour of this HMA last Monday, June 14th. We were shown a very healthy spring, that was private and fenced off of course. The only other water source they showed us, was a spring in very poor condition, on public land. For this many horses to be surviving here, other sources of water are obviously present and accessible to them.

The forage is excellent!! They state water is a problem. Please see their website and comment today. They stated there are 3 alternatives they are asking for comments on. Their staff seems eager to work with advocates, especially Dennis Benson, Associate Field Manager.

So, in the wake of Denver , how can we get the moratoriums?? Any ideas.
Time keeps on ticking into the future, where wild horses may not have one!
