ahhhh crap, I hope Freedom & his new family remain free. Son of a B, I wish they would just stop & leave them alone.
This is Freedom whom you saw and photographed at Calico Jan. 2010? This is a bombshell! Wonderful he is alive and has a family. Now we have to see him fight for Freedom again?
We need to have a say in this. It has become a total rip off of life and rights and sanity.
Freedom is a word, not just a specific horse.
BLM claims that horse was captured.
There are many black studs in that area.
I photographed three black studs that day.
Calico is Freedom’s territory… I remember. He is whichever wild stallion you see… whether he jumped the panels or he came to call to his stolen family. Yes, I remember the Freedoms. He is an enigma… others claim he was never caught….

Freedom and Family are “American Values.”
the horse “Freedom” BLM says was captured.
Laura, when did they say he was captured?
What you see there, in every sense of the word is truly “Freedom”
It sure is. May they remain free… what a daunting hope!
WHATEVER HE IS FREEDOM OR NOT MAY HIM AND HIS FAMILY REMAIN FREE.
[...] Some Perspective… (artandhorseslauraleigh.wordpress.com) [...]
I thought this was the actual “Freedom” that escaped that day.
Darcy we have no way of knowing what happened to that horse that escaped last year. There are some that insist he was caught immediately, several that believe this is that horse. But we really can’t ever be sure 100%.
For example this guy is now believed to be at Litchfield.
He had a distinctive mare that is at there and a black stud that is very close in appearance.
The area has several black lead stallions.
